confused Anybody has this combination?

I installed this combination, but after 5 hours I had to give up, doesn't work. EWS has working Codec & Synth, but SB is dead!

Any ideas? (Yeah I know, this is EWS area, but I have this funny feeling that EWS is reason for "freezing")
